Maidu Museum Opening this Saturday!

Holly posted this link to information about the Maidu Museum & Historic Site's opening this coming Saturday. Lots to see, hear and do there--from looking at bedrock mortars to enjoying some of the most fantastic contemporary California Indian art around. Plus, photographer Dugan Aguilar (Paiute/Maidu/Pit River) will be talking about his recently published book (co-authored with Brian Bibby), Deeper than Gold. I hope I'll see you there. This is an excellent opportunity to do some research and brain-storming about our own exhibit, while also accumulating some lab hours.
